M&M Q2 net down

Automobile-maker Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd on Friday said it closed the second quarter of current fiscal with a lower net profit of Rs.923.56 crore.

In a regulatory filing with BSE, the company said it has posted a net profit of Rs.923.56 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015 as compared to Rs.946.63 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2014.

Total income has decreased from Rs.9,895.97 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2014 to Rs.9,730.92 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015.
