Man held for raping wife in Gurugram

Police have arrested a man for raping his wife, officials said on Saturday. The two were living separately after a dispute.

The woman, in her mid-twenties, registered a case of rape and unnatural sex against her husband Kuldeep Singh, 32, at a Women Police Station at Sector 51 here.

The woman said in her complaint that they were living separately after a dispute between them. Police said that the accused forcibly entered his wife's house and victimised her.

"The case was registered against Singh, a resident of Sector 9, under relevant sections of Indian Penal Code on August 9. He was arrested from Sector 38 here," a senior police officer said.
