Mehta pots semi-final berth

Aditya Mehta assured India another medal as he reached the semi-final of the 15-red snooker tournament in the Asian Indoor Games here Friday.

Mehta defeated Taipei's Wu Yu Lun 4-0 in the quarter-final following up on his 4-1 win over UAE's Sultan Al Joakar in the previous round.

Meanwhile, the other Indian entry Kamal Chawla, after getting past Supoj Senala of Thailand 4-1, went down 1-4 to veteran Mohammedi Saleh Mohammad of Afghanistan.
