Melanie Chisholm finds motherhood tough

Singer Melanie Chisholm aka Mel C is finding it difficult to maintain her personal and professional life.

She has a four-year-old daughter Scarlet and says being a mother is a tough task.

"I find (motherhood) difficult. I don't think you ever get right and it's just like a work in progress - especially because of the way my work is," femalefirst.co.uk quoted Mel C as saying.

Mel C, former member of Spice Girls band, is currently working in the stage version of rock musical "Jesus Christ Superstar".

"I just took Scarlet to Australia for the 'Jesus Christ Superstar' tour because I didn't want to be without her. But the tour and juggling it all with Scarlet really took it out of me and I've been feeling run down," she said.

 

Scarlet is Mel C's daughter with ex-boyfriend Thomas Starr.
