Minor girl raped in Odisha, accused arrested
A man was arrested on charge of raping a seven-year-old girl in Soro area in Odisha's Balasore district, police said on Sunday.
Mahendra Malik of Purusottampur was arrested after he allegedly raped her during a wedding function in the village on May 11.
The girl narrated the incident to her mother, following which a police complaint was lodged, said police Inspector Dilip Kumar Sahoo.
