Modi reaches Red Fort

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday reached the Red Fort on the occasion of 70th Independence Day.

He was received by Defence Minister Manoha Parrikar, Minister of State for Defence Subhash Ramrao Bhamre, Defence Secretary G. Mohan Kumar and Indian Army chief General Dalbir Singh Suhag.

Those who were attended the grand ceremony included former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, veteran BJP leader L.K. Advani, Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan, union ministers and foreign dignitaries.
