President Pranab Mukherjee on Sunday greeted people of Austria on their National Day.
"It gives me great pleasure to convey warm greetings and felicitations to Your Excellency and to the friendly people of Austria on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of your National Day," Mukherjee said in a message to his Austrian counterpart Heinz Fischer.
India-Austria relations were "close, warm and friendly", he said, adding that he was sure of further expansion and diversification of bilateral exchanges that would benefit peoples of the countries.
"My best wishes for your personal well-being and good health, as well as for the progress and prosperity of the friendly people of Austria," he said.
Austria celebrates its National Day on October 26.
