Napoli eye Brazilian midfielder Edenilson

Corinthians midfielder Edenilson is being pursued by Italian Serie A club Napoli.

The Brazilian outfit has been offered 3.5 million euros for the 24-year-old, who impressed during the Campeonato Brasileiro this season, reports Xinhua.

"Napoli have made a good offer," Edenilson's agent Roberto Andrade said Thursday.

"It would be a wonderful opportunity for Edenilson. The Brazilian league is still a long way from Europe in terms of pay."

Edenilson, who can also play at right-back, made 36 league starts for Corinthians this season.
