Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will visit the AIIMS in New Delhi on Thursday to inquire about the health of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
"Vajpayeeji is very very unwell. So I am flying this afternoon to Delhi," Patnaik told the media here.
"You may remember that I've served as a Cabinet Minister in his government for two years. To hear about his health is very distressing," said Patnaik.
He said Vajpayee is a great leader and it was a privilege to have worked under him.
According to the latest health bulletin by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, there is no improvement in 93-year-old Bharatiya Janata Party stalwart's health as he continues to be on life support.
