OIC condemns Texas church shooting

Jeddah, Nov 6 (IANS/WAM) The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on Monday denounced the shooting inside a church in the US state of Texas which claimed 26 lives and injured many.

OIC Secretary-General Yousef A. Al-Othaimeen affirmed the bloc's solidarity with the US and the international community in fight against all forms of terrorism, violence and extremism.

Al-Othaimeen conveyed his condolences to the US government and to the families of the victims of the Sunday attack, wishing the wounded prompt recovery.
