The toll in a factory collapse earlier this week in Pakistan's eastern city of Lahore has risen to 24, media reported on Friday citing officials.
Construction work was on at the fourth storey of the factory building, in Sundar Industrial State of Lahore, capital of the country's eastern province of Punjab, when it collapsed on Wednesday burying almost 150 labourers under the rubble, The Nation reported.
Authorities expect the "search and rescue operations" to take a day or two more.
Rescuers drilled through concrete slabs and cut steel-pipes to make a path to reach the victims.
Over 110 injured workers were still in hospitals with several stated to be in very serious condition.
According to local media reports, at the time of the incident, around 150 people were working in the factory that manufactures polythene bags.
