PNB Q3 net up 11% at Rs 230 cr

Governement-owned Punjab National Bank (PNB) reported a rise of 11.06 per cent in its net profit to Rs 230.11 crore in the third quarter (Q3) ended December 31, 2017.

The bank had reported a net profit of Rs 207.18 crore during the corresponding period of 2016-17.

Total income of the bank in the period under review stood at Rs 15,257.50 crore -- up 8 per cent -- from Rs 14,123.98 crore in Q3 FY17.

Around 1.40 p.m., scrips of the bank traded lower by 3.12 per cent at Rs 158.30 per share.
