Property dealer shoots at wife after spat

A 30-year-old woman was shot at and injured by her husband over a trivial issue, police said on Saturday.

Police are looking for accused Usman Khan who is absconding after the crime.

The couple were on way to a party in Janakpuri area of west Delhi on late Friday night when they had a spat over a trivial issue, a senior police officer said, adding Khan took out a pistol and fired two rounds at his wife, before fleeing from the spot.

The woman was taken to a nearby hospital, where she is said to be out of danger.
