A session of the Punjab Assembly will be held from August 24-28, it was announced on Thursday.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the state cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Amarinder Singh here.
The first day of the session on Friday would be in the held in the afternoon, while the House will transact legislative business from August 27 (Monday), an official told IANS.
