In Quilmes stadium, in southern Greater Buenos Aires, Estudiantes won on Racing's own goal by defender Jose Luis Gomez in the 46th minute Sunday.
Racing have only two points, with two draws and nine defeats (five consecutive), and they have not scored in 454 minutes.
Estudiantes have won six matches, drawn five and lost one to make a total of 16 points.
