The national capital experienced a rainy Friday, while the maximum temperature was recorded nine degrees below the season's average at 14.6 degrees Celsius. Spells of light rain are expected till noon Saturday, the Met Office said.
"A generally cloudy sky will become partly cloudy morning onwards. One or two spells of very light rain could occur in some areas till noon," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
"There will be shallow fog in the morning," he added.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 16 degrees Celsius, while the minimum is expected to settle around 10 degrees Celsius.
A total of 3.8 mm of rainfall was recorded in the national capital from 8.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.
Friday's minimum temperature was recorded one degree above the season's average at 11 degrees Celsius.
Thursday's maximum temperature was a notch below the season's average at 22.6 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was 5.6 degrees Celsius, five notches below the season's average.
