Reliance Power appoints Raja Gopal as CEO

Reliance Power on Friday said that its board has appointed K. Raja Gopal as Chief Executive Officer with effect from May 2.

According to a BSE filing, the new CEO will also take over as a "Whole-time Director" with effect from July 1 in place of N. Venugopala Rao, who will superannuate "from the services of the company from close of business hours of June 30".

Besides, the company said that it has appointed Shrenik Vaishnav as Chief Financial Officer of the company with effect from May 2 in place of Venugopala Rao.
