Rod Stewart sued by son's personal trainer

A personal trainer is suing Singer Rod Stewart over allegations that his son Sean failed to pay for workout sessions.

Fitness guru Randy Rene has filed a lawsuit here claiming he is owed $5,440 for training Sean between March and May last year, reports tmz.com.

Rene alleges that Sean advised him to seek payment for the sessions from his medical insurance as the workouts were scheduled to help alleviate injuries he suffered in a car accident.

It is not clear why Sean's father is named in the suit.
