Roposo turns one, launches its men's platform

Fashion social network Roposo is celebrating its first birthday with the launch of its men's platform.

The move is in line with the massive demand, both from its existing women users and from men themselves, to open up the social network to men's fashion.

Roposo has now compiled a vast range of products for men, from the most stylish apparel to footwear and accessories, so that the dapper male too can discover and shop for the latest trends.

Every Roposo user on the men's fashion platform will have access to personalised recommendations on people to follow for the best fashion inspirations based on their personal preferences and past browsing behaviour.

The platform is also the ultimate destination to check out male style bloggers and to share one's personal style with the fashion community.

Roposo Co-founder Avinash Saxena said in a statement: "We are pleased at the overwhelming response that we've received to our app in its one-year run. Our endeavour has always been to offer style-conscious customers the easiest way to discover and shop for the trendiest pieces that match their specific tastes.

"Moving ahead further with the same vision, we have forayed into men's fashion. There was a large demand for curated inspirations for the men folk as well for all their sartorial needs."

Right from ethnic wear, casual wear, beach clothes, wedding wear and formal wear, the new platform has got it all.

Samarpita Dasgupta, Fashion Director at Roposo, said: "Fashion for men is no longer limited to Mark Zuckerberg's grey tees and blue jeans; men's fashion have come a long way to progress from solid shirts to micro prints.

"Men are constantly evolving just as much as women to choose, shop, and flaunt what is specific to their personalised style, body type, and trend. Sneakers are no longer limited to just sports, and can give a serious style break to the pants which have cropped an inch above the ankle!"

Ace fashion designer Rocky S, who will also be reaching out to a larger customer base by displaying his creations on Roposo, said: "Men's fashion has undergone a sea change, and the biggest change is the understanding of fashion, new trends and the desire to know what works best for one's body. With Roposo launching this platform, men, too can be more creative about their appearance, suit up to look edgy and express themselves in their own unique way."
