Siemens returns to profit in Q1

Indian subsidiary of German conglomerate Siemens Ltd posted Rs.13 crore net profit for the first quarter of 2014-15 against net loss of Rs.49 crore a year ago.

According to the company's release here Wednesday, total income also declined 10 percent to Rs.240 crore in the quarter under review (Q1) from Rs.264 crore in like period a year ago.

Total income includes net sales of Rs.232 crore and other income of Rs.6 crore.
