Slovakia down Georgia in UEFA U-21 qualifier

Visitors Slovakia Monday defeated hosts Georgia 3-1 in their Group Three qualification for the UEFA 2014 Under-21 Football Championship.

Slovakia and the Netherlands now jointly lead the group which also includes Scotland and Luxembourg.

The Slovakia-Georgia match was held in Gori in central Georgia.

With two wins against one draw and three defeats, the Georgians have lost their last hope of advancing in the tournament.
