Suspect escapes from police custody in J&K
An overground worker of a militant outfit escaped from police custody in Sopore in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday, following which a manhunt was launched to re-arrest him, police said.
Police said Mehrajuddin Khan escaped from the Sopore police station, where he was lodged after his arrest four days ago during routine checking.
