Teenaged girl gang-raped in Bengal

A 17-year-old school girl has been gang-raped in West Bengal's Nadia district, and all the four accused have been arrested, police said Wednesday.

The Class 11 girl was allegedly raped by her lover and three of his friends in Haringhata Monday night.

Police arrested four people following a complaint by the girl's mother.

"We have arrested four youths in this connection. They were presented before a court which sent them to 14 days' custody," said a police officer.
