Three dead as lightning hits boat on Ganga

Three people died and 11 others were injured when their boat was struck by lightning on the Ganges in West Bengal's Howrah district on Sunday, police said.

The injured includes two babies.

The boat, which had set sail from the Dakshineswar Ghat, was bound for Belur.

The babies and the other injured were under treatment at the Sromojibi Hospital in Belur.
