Thunderstorm cools Punjab, Haryana

Several areas in Punjab and Haryana were hit by a thunderstorm on Wednesday afternoon, turning the weather pleasant.

The thunderstorm was followed by rainfall at several places.

Chandigarh, Ambala, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Patiala and other places received rainfall for a while, preceded by high velocity winds.

The maximum temperature at most places was between 30 and 32 degrees Celsius.
