TVS Motor posts 23 percent growth in net profit

Two- and three-wheeler maker TVS Motor Company Ltd. on Tuesday said it closed the second quarter with 23 percent growth in net profit.

In a statement, the company said it logged a net profit of Rs.116 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015, as against Rs.95 crore earned during the previous year's corresponding quarter.

The company posted a revenue of Rs.2,881 crore during the period under review, up from Rs.2,667 crore posted during the previous year's corresponding period.
