Two protesters injured in J&K gunfight

IANS Srinagar
Two protesters were injured on Friday when a stone pelting mob tried to disrupt an operation against holed-up militants in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district, police said.
The security forces surrounded Chatpora village earlier in the day following a tip-off about the militants.
"As the encounter started, the stone pelting mob protested which led to the two civilians being injured," police sources said.
The encounter is ongoing.
