UNSC adopts resolution to tighten sanctions against N. Korea

The UN Security Council on Friday adopted a new resolution to tighten sanctions against the North Korea in response to Pyongyang's ballistic missile launch on November 28.

The resolution, which was passed by the council unanimously, targets the supply of refined petroleum products to Pyongyang, among other restrictive measures, Xinhua reported.
