Verona sign Brazilian midfielder Campanharo

Hellas Verona have signed midfielder Gustavo Campanharo on a season-long loan from Brazilian club Bragantino.

In a statement on their official website, the Italian Serie A outfit said the deal included the option of permanent transfer, reported Xinhua.

"Gustavo Campanharo has officially joined the Gialloblu," the statement said.

It will be the 22-year-old's second spell in Italy after he spent the 2012-13 season on loan at Fiorentina.

Campanharo made just 13 appearances for Bragantino in Brazil's Serie B last season as he battled poor form and injuries.
