Warm Sunday in Delhi, sunny Monday expected

The week ended on a sunny, warm note in the national capital as Sunday's maximum temperature settled two notches above the season's average at 36.2 degrees. Similar weather is likely Monday, the Met Office said.

"The sky will remain clear tomorrow (Monday) and the day would be warm," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.

The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 36 and 25 degrees Celsius

Sunday morning was sunny and the minimum temperature settled at 25.1 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average.

The day's maximum humidity was recorded at 80 percent.

Saturday's maximum and minimum temperatures were 36.3 degrees and 25.4 degrees Celsius respectively, both two degrees above the season's average.
