Actor Robert De Niro failed to recognise actor Christian Bale when he met him in his new look for the film "American Hustle".
Bale sports a podgy, balding look in the film.
When De Niro met the entire cast, he asked director David O. Russell who the overweight guy was.
"After he met everybody he said, 'Who's that guy?' I said, 'You just shook his hand, that's Christian Bale.' He said, 'No, that guy.' I said, 'Yeah, that's Christian Bale," Huffingtonpost.com quoted Russel as saying.
The crime drama also featured Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper, Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner.
