Woman constable injured in Kashmir guerrilla attack

A woman police constable and a civilian were injured in a guerrilla attack Tuesday in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.

Unidentified militants fired at a police party that was boarding a government bus at 5.15 p.m. at Shaltakna in Awantipora, an official said.

The police team was returning after conclusion of Muharram duties.

Both the injured were immediately taken to a hospital for treatment.
