'Popular' Obama

US President Barack Obama may be less popular back home but not in Mumbai where citizens think such high-level visits should take place more often. That’s because the municipal corporation and other civic bodies are finally stirring themselves to do things they always found excuses to avoid doing in the past — cleaning the roads, whitewashing crumbling old buildings and tiling the pavements.
