Labour lost in China

A bout a month ago, 100 children were rescued from slave labour conditions from factories of Donguan, a well-known manufacturing hub in the Pearl Delta in the prosperous southern coastal province of Guangdong, China. The victims alleged that they had been kidnapped and forced into labour. This comes on the heels of the labour scandal uncovered last year in Shanxi and Henan province where more than 50,000 migrant workers were rescued from over 2,000 illegal brick kilns and mines.
