No questions, please!

When senior leaders of BJP held a briefing for the party’s media cell members on L K Advani’s rath yatra, they also invited journalists to take part as well as to see the preparations. After leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha, Arun Jaitley, finished addressing the audience, journalists asked him if he could take a few questions. Caught unaware, all BJP leaders huddled together to discuss whether they should answer questions. Soon after, BJP leaders decided not to reply to any question. Before leaving the dais, Jaitley took the microphone and said, “I want to answer your questions but our chief spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad is not allowing me to.” Prasad didn’t know what to reply, as he primarily deals with the media.
