When Railway Board Chairman S S Khurana was about to retire, he sought an appointment with Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee for a customary courtesy call. Banerjee refused to give him an appointment, presumably since she saw him as an appointee of her predecessor Lalu Prasad (Khurana was appointed during UPA-I).
