Small talk

A joint secretary in the ministry of finance was invited to be chief guest at a conference on “Risk Capital Opportunities for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs)”organised by an industry chamber. As chief guest, the JS was expected to present the concluding remarks. While he did speak, to everyone’s surprise, he admitted he had spent so much time and come to the conference to actually learn a thing or two about SMEs since he had taken charge only a few months ago!
