Gandhi hardsells food Bill in poll-bound MP

Says MP government has no respect for the tribals

Addressing a rally at Shahdool in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi said that the BJP government has not addressed the problems of tribals. The Madhya Pradesh government has no respect for the tribals, he added.

Coming down heavily on the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government, Gandhi said the Congress party stands for real development.

Highlighting the Food Security Bill, the Amethi MP said that UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi ensured passage of the Bill despite her ill health.

He said: “My mother said she would not leave Parliament till the food Bill is passed.”

He went on add that Unicef report highlights the rising malnutrition in the state.
