Members opposed the division of Andhra Pradesh for the formation of a separate Telangana

The Lok Sabha was Wednesday adjourned till 12 noon over protests by some members demanding a united Andhra Pradesh.

As the house assembled for the day, members opposing the division of Andhra Pradesh for the formation of a separate Telangana raised slogans demanding that Andhra Pradesh remain united.

This led to Speaker Meira Kumar adjourning the house till 12 noon.
