LIC premium payment facility through TBS

As part of customer friendly initiatives LIC is introducing one more channel viz. TICK BUSINESS SOLUTIONS PVT.LTD (TBS) for payment of life insurance premium. TBS is a reputed E.Commerce Company with wide network of Franchisees spanning over 8 Indian States including Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala in South.

Life Insurance Corporation of India, the largest Life Insurance Company in India is retaining its No.1 position consistently as the premier financial institution in the country. LIC has over 23 Crores Policy holders.

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has now facilitated the payment of insurance premium through TBS at over 3000 Franchisee centers across 8 States This will add a new dimension of convenience to the crores of LIC policy holders in these States.

 

TBS”s partnership with LIC is significant as it adds another alternate channel for payment of premium.. This new initiative is in addition to the convenience of payment of premium at any of the LIC branch offices/Satellite Offices and also through Internet using their net banking account of select banks/through arrangement with certain banks like Axis Bank/through the ATMs of Corporation Bank or Axis Banks etc besides Suvidha Info serve, AP Online etc. Now a policyholder can just walk into any TBS franchisee center or any other service provider in his neighborhood and pay his premium. This would vastly benefit the policyholders in rural areas too.

TBS is a reputed E.Commerce Company engaged in offering wide range of Citizen oriented services having its own Data Center, Software Development Center and Call Center certified by JNTU and works under MICRO SOFT Technology. It is wholly an online internet (web) based portal that operates in a Franchisee model as also Citizen model and offers multiple Citizen oriented services and aims at facilitating e-governance. It has presence in urban and rural areas.

LIC already has in place various initiatives to help the customers to pay their renewal premium. Some of them are:

1. Any of the 2048 LIC Branches & over 400 Satellite Offices out of which 109 in A.P & Karnataka networked through its Wide Area Network (WAN).

2. Premium Payment through Portal (www.licindia.com) by using the internet A/C with the following banks:

Citi Bank, ABN-AMRO, BOI, BOB, Centurion Bank of Punjab, HDFC, ICICI, IDBI, Indusind, Kotak, PNB, SBI, State Bank of Bikaner And Jaipur, State Bank of Indore, State Bank of Patiala, State Bank of Travancore, Union Bank, Axis Bank.

3. Premium Payment through Internet – 8 Banks i.e. Corporation Bank, AXIS Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Centurian Bank of Punjab, Citi Bank, Federal Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce and 3 Service Providers i.e. billjunction.com; timesofmoney.com and billdesk.com.

4. Premium payments through ATMs of Corporation Bank, Axis Bank.

5. Premium payments through SMS for Corporation Bank customers.

6. Premium payment through ECS at all ECS centres including Mumbai, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Bangalore, Mangalore, Mysore, Hubli, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkota, Kanpur, Patna, Jaipur, Chandigarh and Thiruvanantapuram etc.

7. Premium collection through AXIS bank branches.

8. Premium collection through AP online.

These facilities are available free of charge.
