Undertrial prisoner dies

The prisoner Narasingh Mohanty fell unconscious and was declared dead when the prison staff took him to the MKCG Medical College and Hospital here yesterday, in-charge jail superintendent S K Rout said.

The exact cause of the death would be known after post-mortem, he said.

Mohanty was in jail since January 12 last year in an attempt to murder case, Rout said.
