A Delhi resident was killed and 11 others were injured when the bus they were travelling in was hit by a speeding truck in the Hapur Chungi area here, police said today.
The accident occurred last night when the bus was heading towards Delhi from Almora, SP (City) Aakash Tomar said, adding that around 12 persons received injuries in the incident.
Naamdhari Mittal (72) of Dilshad Garden, who was critically injured, was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, he said.
A case has been registered and the driver of the truck has been arrested, Tomar added.
