1 killed, 24 injured as bus falls in ditch

A woman was killed and two dozen others were injured when a bus carrying marriage party lost control and fell in a ditch at Oril village in Pawai area here, police said today.

Santraji Devi (52) died on the spot while about 24 others sustained injuries in the incident that took place yesterday night when they were after attending a wedding, they said.

All the injured have been rushed to a hospital, where the condition of six was stated to be critical.
