One person was killed and six others injured in an explosion in a fire cracker shop in Shahjahanpur today, police said.
The explosion took place when the fire crackers were being manufactured in the shop of Bachchu Khan, who had a licence for the same, leaving him and six others from his family injured, they said.
Khan succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital, police said, adding, that the injured were undergoing treatment.
