One person was killed when the jeep he was travelling in with two others fell into a canal near Badhni Kalan village here, police said today.
The body of the deceased, identified as Krishan Singh, has been fished out. Efforts were on to trace the woman. The driver of the vehicle, however, was rescued by the passersby, police said.
The incident occurred last night when the jeep, coming from Gholia Khurd village, fell into a canal as the driver lost control while crossing the Rania village bridge, they said.
