Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist David Armstrong's expose on a rich American family's role in a cover-up of the opioid crisis will be turned into a feature.
Production banner 101 Studios has announced that it will finance and globally distribute the movie that will provide an inside look into Armstrong's journey to reveal the truth behind the deception and misdeeds by the makers of OxyContin.
Filmmaker couple Aron Gaudet and Gita Pullapilly will direct the film from their own script, reported Deadline.
101 Studios and Marquee Entertainment's Linda McDonough will produce and finance the film.
David Glasser, David Hutkin and Bob Yari will serve as executive producers.
