Eleven persons were on Monday arrested for allegedly smuggling cattle in Palamau district of Jharkhand, police said.
The arrests were made when the accused belonging to two different communities were caught transporting the cattle without any valid documents, in Lesligunj area under Lesligunj police station, SP Indrajeet Mahatha said.
He said the arrested persons have been remanded to 14 days judicial custody.
