12 injured in group clash

At least 12 people were injured today when two groups clashed and exchanged fire over managing the affairs of a college in Rampur Karkhana area of the district, a senior officer said here.

Superintendent of Police Ruchita Chaudhary said that the injured were taken to the hospital from where two were referred to Gorakhpur in a serious condition.

She said that complaints have been received from both the sides, but no one has been arrested so far.
