14 injured in road accident on Yamuna Expressway

Fourteen persons were injured when several vehicles collided due to thick fog at the 63rd mile stone of Yamuna Expressway, near village Katelia in the district, police said today.

"The accident occurred when the wheel of a Noida bound vehicle coming from Agra punctured and itsuddenlystopped. Due to thick fog thevehicles coming from behind collided one after the other. The number of vehiclescollidedat that point was 24 ", DY SPJanak Singh said.

All theinjuredwere rushed to hospitalhowever discharged after first aid treatment, he added.
