In a tragic incident, a 14-month-old girl was crushed to death when a man was trying to park his vehicle, in Karawal Nagar area of east Delhi, police said today.
Manisha was playing in the parking area yesterday when a man, trying to park his vehicle, failed to spot her and ran over her, a police official said.
Locals rushed the girl to a nearby hospital where doctors declared her brought dead.
Police has registered a case and are trying to identify and nab the driver, who fled the scene as soon as he realised what had happened.
CCTV footage of the surrounding area is being checked to identify him, police said.
